Delete your portal account

You can remove your sign-in yourself, at any time, without asking your landlord.

How to delete

  1. Sign in to your tenant portal in the Yemelay app or at yemelayapts.com/login.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Choose Delete portal account and confirm.

Deletion takes effect immediately. No manager approval is involved.

Removed right away

  • Your login and password
  • All signed-in sessions
  • Devices registered for notifications
  • Your in-app notification history

Kept by your landlord

  • Your tenant record
  • Your lease and signed contract
  • Your charge and payment history

What deletion does not do

A lease and its charges are your landlord's business records, the same way a signed paper contract would be. Deleting your portal account does not end your lease, settle a balance, or notify your landlord that you intend to move out.

If you want to end your lease, use Request Lease Termination in the portal instead. That sends your landlord a notice with your preferred move-out date.

If you delete your account and later need portal access again, your landlord can invite you back. Nothing about your tenancy was removed.
